​The Sound Lab is a registered Scottish charity (SC034953) helping young people to fulfil their creative potential through free music, media, digital and arts tuition.  The three main communities we serve as of January 2025 are: care experienced children and young people; those with lived experience of displacement (e.g. asylum seekers and refugees); and children and young people with a disability / additional support needs.

The Amplify Programme

Amplify is our core programming project, where we aim to provide free music tuition to those with barriers to access. Amplify consists of 3 strands, aimed at helping 3 different communities.

Access

The Access strand aims to support young people with disabilities and ASN.

Bonvenon

The Bonvenon strand aims to support young people who have been displaced.

Musicares

The Musicares strand aims to support care-experienced young people.
